A bit later we found this ancient wooden contraption in front of an old house. I eventually found out that it was used for the pressing of almonds (to contract oil).

nice composition – i liked the wall n that window there – post a shot if u can of that – am sure it’ll look good.

n so much for almonds – i’d rather chew them raw.. [love them actually :)]

aaaah. It’s nice seeing old mechanical items like this. Just imagine if people were asked to do this kind of work these days.
