On the south side of the town of Zutphen is the old harbour. Here you are looking across it towards the Bult van Ketjen and the brick wall that protects the town against the water of the IJssel. There used to be a fine house on it, but now there are chestnuts and a promenade, which gives a nice view of the river.

Wat weer veel indruk op me maakt – dat is de dramatische, onrustige, ja opgejagde hemel met enkele opgehelderde en blauwe vlakken. Ik zie ook de spitsen van de bekende IJsselbrug? Sorry, wat is de “Bult van Ketjen”?
