In a deserted part of the island is this beacon. I am not sure if it has a function for seamen.

This beacon has a beautiful geometrical form -quite in contrast (but never disturbing) to the round nature-forms of the trees and the “wolkenluchten( There is no other word for these wonderful Dutch “mountains” as you know!)

That is a find, Wim, and it is playing some optical illusions on me! It does make you wonder if it is functional.

I also had the impression about the optical illusion: as if it is standing askew.
