That’s an unusual awning, Wim. It reminds me of Gaudi, for some reason. Maybe it’s the angle?

A unusual find indeed, a touch of Italian flair in old Zutphen! I take pleasure in the coloured or striped window awnings you can see all over in the Dutch towns- a kind of southern flair, too! “Romeo and Julia” in Zutphen- the famous balcony-scene could play here (if I were a stage-manager)!

LOL at Philine, always romantic here, I just ‘picturit’ indeed a love scene of Romeo and Julia on this well spotted balcony.
