I like the always changing ‘faces’ of the sky- we have in German a special, metaphorical one word-term “wetterwendisch” /changeable/ wispelturig zoals het weer.

And we say: “April, april,/der weiƟ nicht, was er will!” because of the change of sun and rain and snow and shower of hail and sun and rain…!

I grew up in the desert of Southern California, and I have fond memories of watching the infrequent storms from a distance like this. Now I live in Boston, where it rains much more, but between the hills and the trees, I almost never see a scene like this.
