A few weeks ago some boys took advantage of the nice weather and the IJssel river to show their audacity. In the distance the old bridge, with its twin: the railway bridge.

This is the perfect “Boys will be boys!”
A lovely known new view! Ginnie is right, a nice scene, in German we say: ein “Köpper machen”!
Sorry: Schwuppdiwupp, platsch, platsch, einen Köpper machen (duiksprong)
Our local youngsters do something similar called tombstoning…it is aptly named as they jump into waters with hidden rocks below… exciting but sometimes nearly fatal …

I think youngsters do this every where there is a river or a canal, great picture, my son is always at the waterfront when it is nice weather to swim/dive
All feedback is greatly appreciated!
