This is one I took when we had a short holiday ’round Christmas in Limburg, in the ‘far south’ of the Netherlands. The landscape is a bit hilly there. A bit of snow was left on the fields.

yesw, this region of Netherlands looks a bit different (Maastricht is one of my most beautiful towns and the people are speaking such a gentle ‘g’ like the Vlamingen) – I love the two’s company of trees ere, the branches framing the pic and de weidse Nederlandse hemel!

It’s an idyllic scene, Wim. There’s something about hills that are so inviting to me. And just minutes ago I was watching big snowflakes fall outside the window here in Gorinchem. :)
