Sidney, dit klopt! Oh, heel alleen, geen buurman of buurvrouw te zien wijd en breed, alleen maar zo’n vreeemd vogeltje met twee benen en een groot toestel! – maar onze reiger is dapper in wijdse deze sneeuw- en ijs-woestijn! Eeen heel fijne foto, zeg!

Very effective isolation with this bird alone in the frame. This gives a sense of enormous space. Well done.

The poor bird seems huddled against the cold. Not quite as good a shot since there is no profile to help identify the bird.
