Parts of the church of the village of Vorden were built in the mid-thirteenth century. The interior as shown here, with the characteristc round benches, is from around 1850. The benches are going to be taken out and will be replaced by chairs that can be moved about.

een fijne image – en ik hou vooral van de ronde banken – wat een jammer als ze verdwenen! dat mag niet zien! Een goede weekeind toegewenst (ik ben op weg naar A’dam om de schilderijen van Gabriel Metsu in het Rijksmuzseum te bekijken)
