A view on Zutphen from the other side of the IJssel on a clear spring day. On the right the Walburgskerk and in front of it the only houseboat in the river: an old ‘tjalk’.
When you zoom in on the map below you can see the boat lying in its birth.
I have plans to make an etching of this view.

I remember a previous etching of this Ijsselkade – I remember to have strolled along the Ijsselkade on such a sunny day and to have been delighted about this beautiful view – the Walburgiskerk- the white noble houses – the IJssel – the bridges – never I have been on the other side to have this your lovely view!

Wonderful picture, I like the google map view with it…
I just scrolled down and see your etch, the same houses, but a different angle.
