Many years ago here was a large sewage farm for municipal waste water near , and I remember the stink of the waste water, now there is a bird sanctuary and an internationally supported bioreservation – every week the birds and other animals are counted – and the number is increasing -recently a photo of heavily struggling geese ‘decorated’ the title- page of some English newspapers (a nature photographer sat there for hours to take this unique picture).

Love the texture and patterns of that foreground grass. The tiny hut and hints of road are the only signs of man.

Thanks to Harry for his always precise and thoughtful comments! There are not hints of roads, there are hints of water. I myself wonder that the water doesn’t reflect some blueness of sky- for it was a lovely, bright day – but I took the picture slightly against the sun what my camera doesn’t like.

It makes a wonderful lesson about the power of transformation!
