These are three photos made with my old Rollei 35, which I happened to have with me when we drove to Amsterdam in the early hours of a Sunday a few weeks ago.
From afar we saw a big pall of smoke somewhere on the edge of the city, and a great fire appeared to rage not far from the road we were on. An illegal ‘houseparty’ had been taking place in an old industrial building and something went terribly wrong. In this case there were an few people wounded and one died.
